This is a rare, highly poetic and idiosyncratic play, about the chance meeting on an airplane of a math prodigy and a maid from the rural South. Both social misfits, they discover a common past and a shared profound connection that they lost decades ago. A gravitational pull reunites these two old souls amid scientific theory, constellations, and a moment of serendipity that electrifies their mutual desire.

Mercedes is an outsider. Tara makes sure she knows it. When a high school production of The Crucible forces them together, tensions escalate into acts of bullying–both online and IRL. This play explores what happens to a teacher and his students when a classroom conflict turns into an online witch-hunt.
